A
Senior Law Professor, Brod Buddy holds a distinguished
career in the University of the Philippines which
spans a period of more than 30 years. Among the many
important positions he has held include: Secretary,
College of Law (1973-75); Chairman, University Electoral
Board (1985-89); Chairman, U.P. Student Loan Board
(1985-89; and Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs
of U.P. Diliman (1986-89).
Brod Buddy is a recognized authority in Administrative
Law. He has also handled courses such as Supervised
Legal Research, Public Officers, Statutory Construction,
Welfare Legislation, Land Titles and Deeds, Conflicts
of Law, Special Contracts, etc. He has published
a number of papers, the most recent of which is “Reflections
on the Need for Charter Change Through a Constitutional
Convention”, U.P. Law Center (1997).
Brod Buddy completed his LL.B. from U.P. in 1967
and LL.M. from the University of Illinois in 1971.
From 1964-65, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Philippine
Collegian. He belongs to APB Batch ‘58. |
